When you’re a child, you have little to no backstory. It’s easy to learn almost everything about someone as a kid. When you’re an adult, getting to know another adult is like starting a new encyclopedia. There’s a lot to uncover. You could ask, “How do we make new friends as adults then?” But maybe the better question is this. Should we be making new friends?
